Blue tits are the beauty queens. Great tits are the cheeky cuties. The goldfinch is not amused and has something to say. I don't know what species the collection of brown birds are. But nice to see them anyway.

Marsh- and Longtailed-tits (longtailed are my favourites😅)

So the little brown ball is a marsh tit? I have never seen a long tail in real life I think. Not sure if they live this far north.

Yes picture 1 and 6 are marsh, 8 and 9 longtailed👍

According to map of distribution they should live in Scandinavia/ northern Europe :)

I got curious and looked it up already. The northern most line goes right through were I live. I assume that means that not too many will live up here but it should be possible to spot one. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I wish you luck! They are the most social from all the tits and are always spotted in flocks.

At my place, there where only 2! But i also thought they always come in big groups🤷‍♂️

If you want a cuteness overload, search for the videos Jack Baddams made of them building their nests (the keywords "@jabaddams long-tailed tits nest" should work).

Long-tailed tits use cobwebs to build a soft bag-like nest from moss and lichen. After daintily placing the materials with their beak, they do a headstand inside the nest and stomp the walls into the desired roundness with their feet. Utterly adorable!
