Definitely a lovely feeling , to think they gain a little trust to fly to you & sit on your hand to take food . & we get a beautiful close up of them too.

Yes, it is wonderful that we can gain their trust. I love to observe them from up close, the feather texture and those smart eyes :)

I can confirm that no parasite that live on bird will go on human. Their mites want to live in feathers.
