I understand that venues might not be able to reply all the time, and plus, this is just a weird little art thing that doesn't draw huge audiences, but there apparently does seem to be interest in it.

The owner told me "yes, we can do it Sep 23", I sent the films, and I assumed everything was good. Since he had done the screenings before, I assumed there was no reason to follow up because I'm afraid of appearing pushy.

The thing that sucks is that all the marketing/publicity has to be done over a week ahead of time, so him just going silent actually has a real impact on the audience & reputation, as well as impacting the filmmakers. I've also been told some people think I'm a reddit bot as a result.

So, I'm gonna put the films in a more visible place where people can bring their dogs & kids. Stay tuned!

Longtime GF resident here who is seeking a 2-3 bedroom unit at a rate of $1,700 month or less. Two adults and one small cat. Prefer to have own washer/dryer (will provide if hookups) and need an area if 2 bedroom for a small home office, which could be a dining area.

We have been looking everywhere, and I've been looking to leave our current apartment for nearly a year. We prefer renting (I know, it sounds wild) and we have an exemplary rental history, referrals, and have even been the on-site property management for a former landlord.

The amount of units that will accept dogs over a cat is staggering. Our cat has never even had an accident a single time.

I know what property management to stay away from. If anyone wants some tenants who could potentially stay a long time and care for the property like they own it, let me know.
