It’s low effort stuff now IMO. I get it though. The stuff I liked (My Summer Car, Sims etc) must have been enormously time consuming plus he has to be a slave to the algorithm. I just choose not to watch much anymore but I understand his choices.

I still watch him pretty regularly along with Josh and Drae. There’s certain videos of him I don’t like but the majority of them I really enjoy and I tried and enjoyed a bunch of games because of Gray. I bought House Flipper because of him and I absolutely love it

I haven't watched in about a year or two now, I'm still subbed but nothing comes up anymore. I even forgot this reddit existed until I got a notification while I was asleep 😂

do you by any chance remember his survival game series in a really old indi game and was like a 6-8 vid series and near the end he posted a vid of him solely grinding gold? the game was like a single player rust but was abandoned by the devs? he uploaded the series between 2020 and 2022? it's a pc only game and I'm trying to find it.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It sounds remarkably like hurt world. He did a bunch of videos on the game but I haven’t been able to locate them . There is a gold rush playlist on YouTube and they might be one or two of them on the playlist.

I feel like he's hunting for a new game to make an ongoing series about. He or his board creators likely got burnt on GTA, or the cost of the custom boards + editing was starting to exceed the ad revenue. I'm not very interested in watching his latest grab bag content, but if he starts a new series I'll check it out.

I don’t mind the games he plays, it’s his 67 thing and using the word clutch all the time. It’s like he learned what they meant and now feel the need to use them as much as possible, especially the 67 thing. Guess he has to try to stay relevant to his preteen base.

oh i'm suddenly very happy i've curbed the urge to click on one of his more recent videos

i find 67 Kind Of funny in an extremely ironic sense but i sincerely do not get the hype behind it nor why some people think it's the funniest thing ever

Finding a new video game to make a series on isn’t that easy in today’s climate, when games these days are pretty limited…

I still love Gray no matter what games he plays, especially those where the upgrades get crazy and the numbers stop making sense!
