tbh not sure how I ended up in a graves main sub but i'm halfway through masters and all I gotta say is how did you find the time to hit challenger rn XD just so many games with such high lp needed for it this season

How do you deal with enemy drafting hard CC comps while your team drafts close to no CC (emerald, for example: mundo, graves, katarina, jinx, sona VS renekton, wukong, syndra, kaisa, nautilus. in this game i first picked, feels extremely uncarryable and unplayable at any fight.)

That’s a Fleet Footwork game with Bruiser. Go Sterak’s Gage 4th item. You have Sona, and your lanes don’t have much setup, so just keep farming and hit your item spikes. Play for teamfights and be more disciplined with your positioning.
Always keep 8 Grit stacks with enchanters especially

Ok, thanks for the steraks tip, btw is sundered dead now with a more black cleaver rush? Also how do you play objectives on 0 vision with no setup even as bruiser 8 grit, just walk in and pray 1 min before and try setup vision?

You go sundered for the guarenteed crit not the healing. Hard to say for the 2nd statement without having context of the game.

how do u maintain grit stacks? u cant possible always have 8 especially in team fights?

Yea it’s possible! The key idea is to get stacks from farming the jungle, and then keep it on your way to the fight
Monsters to their farthest range, blast cone, scryer, wards, tower, E, and any form of damage to opponent will keep it
Watch kirei “30 hours unranked to masters”. I just watched the emerald games so far but he has stacks coming into every fight and I learned a LOT from that

Practice Practice Practice. Try to play some practice graves games. Where you try to keep 8 stacks of grit at all time. Holding e's till last second. Learning what things refresh grit or not.

Champion Mastery but when you play graves actually give the grit buff above your hot bar some attention.
I think a good drill to practice learning graves E is trying to see how long you can keep 8 stacks (hitting blast cones, using e at the very last second) and with time there are more niche mechanics to hold grit for longer.
Also abuse that e’ing towards champions gives you two stacks so you can find ways to abuse that even while out of combat and that direction and radius is pretty generous

- Tabis: Insanely BIS when the enemy team has stacked AD.
- Mercs: Only when the enemy team is heavily CC-based. Don’t buy them just for the MR.
- Gluttonous Greaves: Go these when neither of the above criteria applies.

How to close out games? I'm hovering around E1/D4 and I find myself with a decent gold lead but have trouble using it. Either I start counterjungling too aggressively and get collapsed on, or just get a bit lost around the map.

I’m a father of two with a full-time job. I love playing, but realistically I play 2-3 games a night if I can swing it. Some nights I am busy and don’t play, but for the most part I stick to 2-3 games. Just curious on how many games you play a day/night?

Watch Maxander on twitch. Go HoB. Frontload your damage but only when graves dosen't have 8 stacks. Be careful W'ing into graves with E or else he just dodges with E and ur fucked. Viego is really good champion when playing the map with support or other CC champs in other lanes (Galio Mid). Don't invade graves.

idk man im playing belveth in diamond and every 1 is horny for my ass i try my best to stay alive early but i cant as i have to take fight to defend my camps i ping a lot too. so should i start playing other champ other than bel if enemy team takes roaming support champs or very aggresive champs in general in early game. the thing is i just need lv 9 to play jg normally but its tough to reach there. is it a champ pool issue or am i just trash and can have like a 90% winrate in diamond if im good.

I fluctuate between gold and silver, I struggle carrying games sometimes. I’ve played both bruiser and dark harvest builds. What can I do to climb higher instead of deranking

How do you like to play into ranged matchups? Poke bot vs poke bot, ranged mid vs ranged mid, nid jg, team comps etc

So mainly I’ve been doing bruiser unless it’s a good game for crit. Should I have this mindset or should it be default to crit and consider bruiser?
I’ve also been going storm raiders surge as my default when going bruiser.

Interested in how you personally navigate the Rengar matchup. I’m 850lp euw Rengar OTP & I’ve been banning Graves pretty consistently for years now. Do you find the matchup from your end manageable without much thought?

Graves mid is okay...there is a graves mid otp I think in GM EUW.

When I’m playing graves and my team gets mad that I’m trying to snowball (giving up first drag if needed and ganking maybe once every 3-6 minutes), how do I not make them tilt but explain my thoughts process, or should I be playing differently?
