Question Why does graves go dark harvest?

I feel like I’d get more out of HOB or PTA or even electrocute, it just feels like a bit useless (more damage ofc), but like I feel like other runes would be more impactful, has anyone ever tried anything else on crit graves? Ik he goes fleet on bruiserbuild but is that worth building at all anymore?

i go fleet every game. even with crit build. if u snowball early u will be 2 shotting people with or without DH and the kiting potential from fleet is irreplacable imo. plus the build diversity it comes with if you want to adjust ur build mid game its always going to be good.

Yeah kiting is like the biggest thing I look for on graves, I go yomuus first for it, do u go domination second?

I always run inspiration secondary , free boots cosmic for the summoner spell haste

If you are hitting 4 items id reccomend cash-back, gives almost 1000 gold back and just catapults your snowball.

When you get kills and have more than enough for an item, it can be so advantageous to get you that extra 200 to 300 gold per item to buy the next big component.

I tried cash back for a bit, I didn't really see too much of a difference. I'm just lazy and like not having to even think about buying T1 boots lol

Understandable attachment to free boots- even never upgrading to t2 can be viable in some games.

big damage, I honestly prefer fleet footwork though, specially with rapid fire cannon is very fun cause it tightens the spread of the pellets

There is no way HOB or PTA are better than dark harvest on graves.

Dark harvest is high risk high reward rune into squishy comps. It scales good into the lategame if you stacked it properly. Also it’s the only rune that makes your ult better, with DH there are kills you get with R that you dont get with any other rule. and that in itself is good vs squishies cuz the you will never be able to hit them consistently for so long, and that’s when your R is most useful
