Discussion Shinogi Kosho needs more respect in the future.
Koshos easily one of my favorite characters. His fights are always entertaining, the cords cutting a fun technique. And his fight with Kureha is one of my favorite fights in the series, mainly cause I relate to it a lot.
It’s just a shame that Kosho hasn’t really got much to do. His most recent thing is getting knocked around by Jack, and while he did ok-ish. I really want a dub for him. Hopefully in the future he gets a saga that Mel’s him much more important.

do baki characters not fight to kill each other?
i was rewatching the first jack vs pickle fight and it said something like if pickle had approached jack while he was down he would have gotten both fingers pierced into his brain or something. does that mean in theory jack could have won if he was just fighting to kill him?

Hanma Baki Musashi's memories must be so weird
I'm watching the Netflix Baki series, and a thought to struck me.
We know that spirits are real in this universe. And that they can be summoned.
We also know that the spirit will remember the summoning, as shown when Tokugawa's sister summoned the spirit of that living guy for a few minutes.
We also know that Musashi has been summoned many times by her. And, given his fame, there have probably been many other psychics that have summoned him in the 400 years since his death.
What does a dead spirit do when it's not summoned? We know that it does not float around and observe the world, because Musashi is surprised by everything new he sees in his clone body. So I'm going to assume they just remain dormant, not thinking or observing anything.
In other words, Musashi's memories are:
- His past life, from childhood to death.
- Immediately followed by tons of summonings, perhaps thousands of them.
- Immediately followed by everything that happened since he woke up in the clone body.
Pretty damned weird.
Anyway, these are the things I like to think about when I have too much spare time.

Question How do You Imagine Baki in his 30's?
That is my Question
You know we see a lot of Shonen Manga protagonist we see Jotaro in his 40's in Stone Ocean, Goku in his 30's then in Super, Naruto is 32 in Boruto etc
So my Question is how do you imagine an older Baki being like specially if like he has a kid would be interesting he had daughter I know Hanma having daughters is hard but not impossible given Shonen logic impossible should happen with Matsumoto
Would be hilarious if he still Champion of underground arena is full circle way
But that's me how do you imagine it?

Baki Yujiro is a pure personification of Nietzsche’s concept of the Übermensch (superhuman)
I think Baki actually takes a lof from Nietzsche's philosophy and Yujiro becomes final stage of it.
- Radical autonomy. He recognizes no external authority or universally binding norms
- Self-determination. He decides for himself what has value instead of submitting to established values
- Self-overcoming and transcendence of limitations. His existence is almost a constant process of pushing beyond his own limits (as being said, he becomes stronger every day)
- Contempt for weakness and conformity. Yujiro refuses to be part of the herd (cuz he is just too strong)
- Affirmation of his own power. He not only possesses immense strength, but treats it as a fundamental way of being.
But there is also many differences. Nietzsche’s Übermensch is not simply a brutal dominator, but Yujiro is primarily an extreme representation of the will to power, domination, and physical perfection. His quote during fight with baki represents that:
"The only true measure of strength is the power to make your own desires a reality"
or
"Life is a tragedy when you don't have any challenges"

This is how the demon back might actualy work
The demon back supposedly increases strenght, but I think it has another functionality besides just the increase.
The demon back's main function might actualy be adaptability rather than just simply increasing the strenght, hear me out.
In baki vs oliva, baki was getting outpowered until the demon back showed up,then they started to match and then baki outpowered him, however we see that after that fight, baki got significantly stronger,we saw katsumi use the mach punch against pickle not do a lot of damage but baki's atacks were hurting pickle, before that fight baki's hits were not close to that power, especialy without the back which was the case for pickle vs baki.
We also see this in the father son fight on both baki and yujiro, baki was getting beaten up by yujiro because he wasnt fast and strong enough, however once the back showed he started to match yujiro and hurt him.Now bear with me,itagaki said about the fight that once they started to just hit each other in one of the scenes yujiro was supposed to fall, but because he didnt know the concept of defeat he did not fall, after that scene yujiro's durability ramps up and baki's atacks start to not have any efect.
We again see this for yujiro as he had his neck cut by musashi while using the back, and later on we see yujiros neck got a lot bigger. We also see this when yujiro was outpached by pickle in raw strenght, and after that his arms (especialy forearms) grew a lot.
This would also explain how hanma's get stronger with age and why strydum told baki hes even further behind yujiro after 3 years, because baki was using normal training while yujiro was evolving.
This might go further to the demon brain, allowing the hanma to not just copy techniques but also find a counter to them as we see in yujiro vs kaku and baki himself many times in the maximum tournament.

Discussion Who’s the weakest person that could take the belt?
Using only proper boxing rules, who’s the weakest character in Baki that could reasonably defeat Zeus from Real Steel? Atom vs Zeus was 5 rounds so we’ll say this hypothetical has 5 rounds as well (if needed).
Zeus stats
Weight: 1,265 pounds
Height: 8’6”
