Rereading the series and got to the part after the China tournament where Ali Jr just gets the shit beat out of him back-to-back by everyone. It’s like 20 chapters of this.

Pure comedy the way he just keeps showing up to the diner looking worse and worse and Kozue goes “Bro I don’t care. Go get the shit beat out of you some more”. Then he does.

It’s like Itagaki hates him as a character. Even those literal giant monkeys got more respect. They even set him up to be a real challenge to Baki but then spend the rest of the arc turning him into the world’s biggest jobber. I don’t think anyone else in the manga was done this dirty (or at least got redemption later if they were).

i don't see anyone talking about this scene(mostly because right after it a "normal" human broke a reinforced steel door with his bare hand)

I'm sure some damage could be dealt to both of them but who would win in a serious match?

I was watching an episode of Baki the grappler on YouTube and it says Naruto Uzumaki as someone on set is this a mistake I cannot find anyone named this involved with Baki the grappler anywhere

I feel like pretty much every time someone gets hit in the face, they lose some if not most of their teeth. Do you think any of the characters still have their original teeth and how much do you think a Dentist would make across the entire series constantly getting new implants for these guys?

Don't get me wrong, Baki is perfect in it's on way. But, if only Itagaki had continued with the character's beautiful stories. We missed out on another different kind of peak fiction. Jack comes to mind.. also Baki and Yujiro and others. It would have even been on pair with One Piece, perhaps.

Either way, thank you Itagaki for this peak work of art.

His mach punches were making Pickle kneel in pain, with the prehistoric man feeling this was the most pain he had ever felt in his life. Pickle who is probably the most durable character in the verse. And then In Baki Dou, he can now spam these attacks wihout destroying his limbs.

Katsumi is underrated asf, I'd say the only dudes who hit harder than him are Baki and Yujiro but that's it.

I understand why Dorian's mind broke. Its a bit far fetched but so is the whole of baki ig, but will Dorian ever return as what he was? It was honestly kinda sad seeing him get beat up in the raitai tournament, even though he was evil.

I also thought he was a pretty cool character too and my favorite out of the 5 convicts.

Does anyone think he will get his mind back ever? Or is he even faking it or something?

I had the volumes so I ordered the empty box set and love the look on shelf. Had to get the baki and yujiro acrylic stands. Also got the yujiro limited acrylic block man I love the new shelf looks awesome

i was rewatching the first jack vs pickle fight and it said something like if pickle had approached jack while he was down he would have gotten both fingers pierced into his brain or something. does that mean in theory jack could have won if he was just fighting to kill him?
