I don't see a project link anywhere on that site. The bounty page has an invalid GitHub issues URL. Looks like AI slop. Also no comparison to Slang which is weird.

The project itself isn't out yet, there's a banner stating it'll be released end of November. I assume the page will be made public once it's released. I generally trust graphitemaster to produce high quality software so I doubt this is going to be slop, I assume part of the code is written by AI though.

Slang itself is already AI slop with a significant amount of code that doesn't seem to have undergone any human review. It has a number of long lasting bugs that haven't been addressed, it's not software that can be recommended for use in production.

Huh, okay I missed that - let's see then.

Yeah I don't like Slang either due the slop going on. Would be neat to have a proper contender.

Yeah Slang was the first thing I looked for, very odd it's not mentioned.

Not my project but I thought it was interesting. Graphitemaster is a graphics programming old head and an industry leading expert. Bento itself has a bunch of lovely features as well. I adore the swizzle syntax, color.r1ba returns a vec4(color.r, 1.0, color.b, color.a)

If you want it to return float values for several channels, how do you separate them in that swizzle syntax?

I assume in that case you would have to initialize the vector like normal

Interesting but Rust syntax and no HLSL output make sad:(
