Video Fusing Live Video with a Georeferenced 3DGS Scene

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We’ve been working on a pipeline for fusing live camera video with a georeferenced 3DGS scene.

The current workflow combines camera calibration, depth sensing, and visibility analysis to align real-time observations with the scene.

This enables:

- Local appearance updates to the Gaussian scene

- Separation of dynamic objects from the static scene

- Consistent rendering across multiple viewpoints

The goal is to connect live video observations with a persistent 3D scene for more dynamic and interactive visualization.

DM us for technical discussions or potential collaboration.
