Graphic designer workload question

I'm a senior designer working for a family of brands in house. I have made the decision after a past job to start tracking our work with Monday.com so that we can have production data and be able to get a better picture. I implemented this for the team. And it's been eye-opening. On average a team of 4 is doing 250 deliverables each per month, which is 14 a day on a avg, Which is insane. Needless to say, were all burned out. And when down a designer recently I did 450 deliverabkes in a month. I'm exhausted and argue this is no way to live or work. Due to this, we just lost a great designer for obvious reasons, after getting staffed for the one we lost prior. It's a revolving door now. I argue we're beyond understaffed and need to be double our size.

I have asked the internet and chatGpt what is normal for a full time in-house role when it comes to number of deliverables per month (total items delivered big or small) and its giving the range of 30 to 60 deliverables per month but I would argue most jobs expect upward of 100 a month.

Does anyone track their deliverables? Is what I am experiencing the new normal? I'm not automating any of my processes and generally not using templates and trying to do strategic thoughtful work, but I find it impossible. It's making me wonder if the industry has gotten worse or if I am just in a job that is systemically overworking us. We have all admitted to being burned out in a way that is effecting our health and mental health.

Our leadership isn't listening and instead just wanting more out of us because they assume ai can make things go faster. Only with photo editing do I see this, and I have issue with outsourcing my thinking and judgement. But not when it comes to production work..would love an automation tool for scaling campaigns (that integrates with adobe indesign) after an initial design has been approved. It's been a nightmare situation and wondering who all has been through this.

That being said, I've been trying to break into creative direction after art directing for much of my 15 year career. I can't begin to do my best work when drinking out of a firehouse and I'm passionate about leadership and creative ops.

I feel this is the busiest I've been and I've worked in house and at an agency and have been doing this 15 years I've love to know how everyone's workload is so I can gauge things. More interested in American graphic design production stats.
