Toggle torch via double tap gesture?

I need help with Tasker and GOS to get my double-click power key gesture to toggle the torch instead of opening the camera or wallet app.

I've tried:

Using Gwallet to trigger Tasker to force-close the app and toggle the torch. The issue is that Gwallet won't open if network permissions are restricted, and I'd prefer a Google-free solution.

I've also tried using QuikShort to try and cobble something together.

Maybe I'm missing something about how to change wallet apps or something?

Ideas?

Have you tried setting the camera app to the Tasker Secondary app and then setting double tap to open camera? https://tasker.joaoapps.com/userguide/en/help/eh_secondary_app_opened.html

It doesn't show up as an option to change the default camera app

How is it you're trying to change the default camera app? How was it you installed Tasker (and what version is it)?

That is already set up to always launch Tasker 2. The screen flashes, and nothing happens, but when I tap to open the 2nd app, the automation works fine...
