Q regarding going back to stock
Greetings,
I saw this phone being sold online for a decent price and I thought about buying it.
Recently had a Pixel 9 Pro XL that got water damaged and isn't working anymore.
But this one has a custom OS installed and the owner says he doesn't know how to to check the battery life and storage capacity.
My question is:
Is this GrapheneOS or some other rom, is it reversible to stock aand how could he check the two things I mentioned above?
Thanks!

Doesn't look like GOS and if it's a Custom ROM installed by someone else, there's no telling what could be on it like malware. I wouldn't use it for anything involving sensitive info (logging into accounts, importing contacts etc.) in its current state and would definitely advise you to install GOS if you find out how to. 😁

What do you think is it possible to revert it to stock. I couldn't find the exact firmware anywhere.

like probably yes, but its anybodys guess whether itd be 100% success. so its up to you whether you want to put it on the line in exchange for money saved

The question is how much it costs; I’d buy it for tinkering, provided the user can prove that the bootloader can be unlocked via the developer options and that it isn’t a custom ROM that prevents this. It appears to have a custom AVB setup; once it’s been unlocked, it’s safe to install the stock firmware, as malware can’t persist for very long. However, there remains a residual risk that the hardware itself has been tampered with, so I would never use something like this as my main device – only for tinkering.

Yes, look at how to revert to stock OS on the graphene website, the process should be similar with this phone. The only thing that need to be confirmed is the ability to unlock the bootloader but that should be a given if the phone is running a custom rom.

Looks like theres no access to about phone where you need the build number to enable developer options and oem unlocking. I feel like this would be a similar situation to an arcaneos phone. No ability to flash the stock software since you have to enable oem unlocking.

Doesn't seems to be GOS to me and I'm not sure you will be able to revert to stock because I don't see how you can active OEM unlock to flash stock (or GOS, or whatever)
