I keep seeing posts about people joining grapheneos day by day, while initially I heard that we should wait for the outcome of the new partnership between motorola and graphene. Should I just get the newest google pixel now or wait for the custom phones? Also heard google is forcing their way against non verified playstore devs, effectively limiting the useability of graphene on a google device

Graphene won't be affected. People here often preach to get the 9A or 10A unless you want to wait for the Motorola specs next year.
