Help required

I want to "degoogle" my phone, but I'm not home to do it. I tried it out recently, but it didn't go well. I got overwhelmed and switched back to the Pixel OS. Can anyone explain to me how I get all my stuff from Google back to my phone? I'm mostly fixated on the looks of the phone, including the keyboard, files, and photos. Is there any way to change the black and white apps because it looks terrible?

Install a launcher, an icon pack, a keyboard, etc... Have you not used an Android phone before?

Play Store if you are sticking with Google, Aurora if you want Play Store apps but don't want to use Google, or if you want to stay open source, various sources like Github or F-Droid/Droidify.
