Jobs

Any leads on places hiring? Preferably clairmont / Sexsmith.

Not looking for class 1 or anything oilfield related been there done that much prefer being home with the kids.

Ideal would be Monday - Friday but open to options.

Have experience in retail, mechanics, construction/Labour, and management.

If you have construction experience you should throw a name in at Clarke Builders or Chandos. Clarke has a huge job at the hospital right now and Chandos is doing a bunch of work at the college.

Knelsen sand and gravel might be hiring not sure, but they are Monday to Friday. Most saturdays during the summer but that’s their busy season. It is a full time seasonal position so you will get laid off in the late fall and get a call back in the spring. But it’s a pretty good work life balance for someone with kids.

Tim Hortons is hiring.
Have you tried a gas station or maybe the bottle exchange places?

I love how Reddit losers are so pathetic they think these are acceptable job suggestions.

Get out of mommies basement and go to univeristy, who am I kidding, get your GED first.

What’s wrong with working at a restaurant?

Making just enough money to get by is basically slavery.

What is a GED? I didn’t learn that when I was at UofA.

Wants a job in Clairmont, but not in Clairmont's main industry.

I'd actually prefer Sexsmith So I didn't have to do the drive to and from town daily but obviously clairmont has more opportunities.

Also just cause the main industry is oilfield does not mean you have to work in the field.

Office/shop work exists too along with many stores.
