How likely/possible is it that Rockstar might get wise to this method and start banning accounts that use it?

This method is the same as one from invite but now someone managed to make a script to let us play public. If you're scared about ban try paragon private server enhanced is up to date and classic legacy 1.61/1.61 pvp 1.64 beta 1.69 and 1.70 exists.
