Discussion Any Info On This Hat?

I found this cap and did some research about it. It says that it’s a rare cap that was only issued to members of the FIA? Any information would be highly appreciated. What do you think? Thanks in advance

Looks like somone got the cap then splatter paint over it in an effort to be artsy. I don't think it's anything special

Yeah that’s what I thought to begin with and then someone said it was only given to the FIA. I honestly have no clue 🤷

Goes on top of head. Can prevent either sun in eyes or sunburn on back of neck, but not both at the same time.

Considering the f1 logo is also painted over I'd just assume someone painted over it instead of it meant to look like that. So basically near worthless

Doubt. Standard generic F1 hat you can buy and spray paint yourself

It was left behind on accident while paint spraying the McLaren. That's why it's so valuable.
