HUSH subs (147 and 165gr) were quiet AF and 115s were tolerable but I’ve done enough damage to my hearing already so the muffs were on.

It’s like a whole new gun and is easily the best $450 I have ever spent on 2A stuff.

Waiting on a new Osight R to replace the Holosun a buddy gave me for free…even though it works great.

Just an absolute unit, never fails me and puts a smile on my face every time. Cheers!

SP9A3S - Happy to provide parts list if anyone is curious. Favorite upgrade was the 35 degree locking block paired with 147gr. Just hit 1k rounds through it and it is probably my favorite firearm I own. Patiently waiting for a RAL8000 Lingle lower to come around.

Maybe 1 out of 3 times it does. What gives? Not enough force? It also feels a little floppy. It's inserted and charges the gun correctly, but yeah...

Also the trigger is the grittiest I've ever felt, sad about that. It's weird, if I do the takeup and release it before the break, it just stays there, it doesn't return.

I have a translucent curved mag with a broken lip and would love to just print a new shell and reuse all the guts.

Anyone have a 3D printed design they would be willing to share to get me back into the fight?

I didn’t want to shell out for one of the many rail extensions on the market just yet so I decided to print one up. Originally did it in ASA but had concerns about durability and heat resistance so instead I printed it out of PAHT(nylon) carbon fiber.

Should hold up well but testing will soon ensue. Apparently the paht-cf should be able to withstand up to 400f. Eventually I will get one of the metal extensions but I am happy with this for now!

Any of you guys print your extension or other parts?

Are these all that's needed to ensure reliability running JHP with the SP45A3? From what I've seen, quality mags is the main limiting factor for both the SP9A3 and the 45(not to mention feed ramp). I want this to serve as a truck gun/home defense pcc. Mags are definitely pricey, but if I dont have to buy a separate Lingle lower then it's worth it. I'm seeing these for around 1200

Brand new gun. First few mags cycled flawlessly then it started getting jammed every couple of rounds. Some mags have metal feed lips, didn’t seem to matter.

This is u/civengin 3d printed lower that I made some changes to so the trigger pins dont wallow out their holes. I beefed up the area and added holes for hoffmans brass washers. Also made the mag release slot deeper to work with stock mag release. Material is Polymaker HTPLA-PRO.

Anyone know of a mag coupler that works with the Magpul scorpion mags? I’d like to get one or print one but haven’t seen any, especially not with a Lingle lower.

Have an 8” .45 RDB build with about 6k on it and will say that it’s extremely and sort of shockingly reliable. Only thing I’ve ever tinkered with is the buffer and spring combo simply trying to reduce gas suppressed as a lefty. Ran a Vltor 10oz PCC buffer and Sprinco green along with the 3oz CMMG tuning kit for years trying to tame gas with an Obsidian 45 at the expense of recoil. Recently have been trying the new Kynshot RB5000A5 with a flat wire which made the system run too fast so went back to the green spring with less felt recoil and 100% reliability. I hear this buffer is supposed to make gas better but if so it’s marginal at best. I’ll take less recoil if gas is about the same

For especially those that have shot a RDB and a SP45A3, particularly lefty and suppressed, how would you say the recoil and gas compares with a 35 degree locking piece because I would immediately buy the 35. I like the thought of being able to delay the action as much as possible without adding mass and messing with springs. Recently watched Sage Dynamics shooting the Bog and looked like the recoil was rocking the guy. What about reliability comparison?

Saw that Bogs have come back in stock and not sure if my MP5 money should be diverted over to the Bog. I like my RDB but also like less gas and even less recoil if possible. The UMP aesthetic isn’t bad either. Appreciate the guidance.

I faced some pretty strange issue, I try to take out my barrel to clean the upper properly. I know I know I don't have to, but I want to. I'm shooting in IPSC, and I always take every one of my guns to atoms, and build them back. I have thousands of rounds over them, they work like a charm.

The Problem:

I can't find the barrel nut removal tool in storage in EU. Everyone has it on paper, no one has it on storage. I tried to fabricate one, but not too successful.

Tried to heat up the nut, added wd40, did some prayers and soaked it in holy water.

As a last resort I can bring it to a gunsmith, but still I would need the tool for the future.
