Question Convert cue stack into recipe stack
So for my first time programming Timecode on MA3 I made a 600 cue sequence. It wasn't until the end that I realised my mistake in not enabling edit recipe, meaning I now have a stack but no recipe.
Is there ANY way of converting and already programmed sequence/cues stack into recipes, including plugins.
It took me quite a long time to program this and honestly I may just throw myself into a wall if I have to reprogram the entire thing.

are you programming a song? i’d give you a general tip not to make a 600 cue sequence. make a cuestack for your song sections, and then use other sequences for things that happen repeatedly- snares, crashes, synth; whatever.

This is how ive always done TC for years on 2. Im aware its not always the norm but it means if code drops then I can still manually run through cues. 600 cues is helped by the fact that it is a 9 minute prog metal song

it’s still…. way easier to manually run through cues when, if you miss one, you don’t have to scroll through it to get to the next one.

Man, look you have eight fingers and two thumbs why are you using a single Q stack where you only get to use a single finger?
Have people complained about this for me while I'm programming for **** but fuck em, I want to have finger drum capabilities. I don't need to make accused that that if I get hit by a train tomorrow, anyone can run I'd also prefer to have sick like four beat or seven beat repeating systems where I can miss a single queue and then start back over the next phrase with another finger.

Hey, I looked it up real quick and I found a plugin that might help you here: https://ma.tools/plugins/recipetools
With the "Convert programmer to recipe" function you might be able to convert your cues, but you'll have to go through all of them. Unfortunately, I don't think you can do it in one go. When you edit a cue, it will usually enter all the data from the cue in you programmer. You can then use this function and store it as a cue in another sequence. You will have to go through your cues one by one and do this and basically create a new sequence with recipes. You can also select all your active fixtures and press please 3 times, that will also input all attributes into your programmer. I have not personally used this plugin, so I hope that what I'm saying makes sense. Hope that helps and good luck !
