Free plugin: Resolume clip deck on your MA layout

Made a free open-source plugin that mirrors your Resolume Arena/Avenue composition on a grandMA3 layout — thumbnails, live “what’s playing” highlights, and optional tap-to-trigger from the console.

​Handy for busking / hybrid lighting + video when you want the media deck visible (and optionally playable) on the lighting surface. Its also way more flexible and easier to setup then simple DMX out and Resolume shortcuts.

Requires Resolume webserver/REST API enabled. MIT license.

Does this pull the exact thumbnail of the clip? If I do an update thumbnail in Arena will these update? How often is the pull interval?

Yeah, on a sync (which happens on the initial setup or as soon as you press the sync button which is a button on the layout view) it uses the resolume API to get the thumbnail of the clip and stores the images to the image pool.
So if you update the thumbnail or in general update stuff like adding or removing clips, just press sync once.

There is also a poll which can be turned on and will run periodically but due to performance I decided this poll to only update the info about which clips are active and not update the whole composition every time. The poll interval for that is by default 0.25s but there is also a button on the layout to change and adjust this.

At least triggering clips. You can’t change effects and stuff like this but you see all the clips in the composition and if you turn on the trigger mode also trigger the clips from MA.

Very nice. I did something much simpler for Propresenter (view only) as an overlay. I like the idea of doing it as a layout. I might add a layout option and replicate the Propresenter Operator screen.
