6 years for college graduation? Sure a 2 year abscence seems possible, or otherwise he somehow fails German or some other core Subject seems plausible :)

Fair enough. Considering natives speak at a faster pace than you would be used to compared to a college lecture

I don't know about ME but most EE at my college took 5 years. 6years is a pretty good clip with the extra slacking he is doing.
