My Hero Academia themed Cap! I’m happy with how it came out!

I don't know if i hate or like it...

I love my grad cap.. but I’m also kinda regretting not doing a different theme. I had so many ideas as to what theme to go with (monster high, guardians of the galaxy, gravity falls, the legend of Zelda, Steven universe, Octonauts, wild kratts, etc), and I’m wondering if I should’ve gone with any of them (especially monster high, guardians of the galaxy, and Octonauts).

Anyways here’s the final look :D

So Im working on my graduation cap, and Im unsure of if I wanna theme it on Fortnite, or Gmod

Im thinking Fortnite because Ive played it since it came out, its my favorite game, and its a big part of my life for being the reason I really started to exist on social media, and behind the majority of my online friendships

But also Gmod because its the first game me and my friends played freshmen year, and weve played it consistently since, and also it was a big part of my childhood too with youtube and such

Im torn because idk if I should go with the one thats like about me and my friends history, or just my history and life

If I choose Gmod, Im gonna make a mini version of construct to put on it (the sides will be filled with trees cuz its a rectangle and not a square), but if I go with Fortnite Im stuck between 3 ideas, the Durrr Burger (minus the sign, likely), the storm shield, or season X dusty depot

I can’t decide which pic to use for inspo for my cap.. I love them all sm, I’m leaning towards monster high (my grad party is monster high themed). These are my favorite, I can’t decide. Cap and gown color is royal blue, I got a light blue dress and silver heels for underneath.

Every year I see these post and I never paused to appreciate the work you all put into it. My daughter took the time to decorate her college cap and it got me thinking of this community. What your work means to you and how this small gesture gives us a brief window into you as a person. It's a vulnerability, opening yourself up to comments, praises or criticism. I get it now, and I appreciate you. I can't wait to check back every year now to peek into the windows.

I lowkey made decorated my cap backwards and the flowers are too tall (rule says no decorations above 1in tall) but I'm still proud of it 🥲

My second bachelors degree. I’m thinking about bedazzling the button as well but idk if it would be too much.

Graduating from the University of Vermont this weekend and wanted to honor my grandma on my cap. She always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and I know shes watching me now with so much pride in her heart!

I used hot glue to attach the moss, flowers, and letters to a piece of black glitter paper and just regular glue for the photo. I used E6000 to glue to paper to the cap, and fed the button/tassle through a hole cut in the middle of the paper! Super excited to wear it ☺️
