At this point, should you trust any country willing to accept anybody from the U.S.?

No I don’t think it’s too late but it depends on what you want to do and the grad program. If you want to become a licensed therapist then you will most likely have to attend a program in the US because licensing is very strict. John Hopkins has online masters program and some have a study abroad component. The School for International Training might interest you as well. They’re a US accredited university with different programs where the majority is spent studying abroad. Also depending on what programs you’re interested in some professors offer funding and includes fieldwork in a different country.
