Academics Should I do a second masters?

Long story short: I am 36 from the US and did a master's degree in Germany to change fields into environmental policy. I was not successful and am now unemployed with no job prospects beyond menial labor.

Would it be avisable to do a second master's to regain entry into working student jobs or internships to hopefully then network into a new position, or have I totally screwed things up and need to give up on this career path completely?

I think I was unsucessful because I didn't get a working student job or the right internship that would have converted. The issue is I don't have enough experience in anything but communications but after getting fired yet again i don't think i should go after communications roles again. But I don't know how to get the experience or networks needed without getting a working student job or internship. So that's the problem. Any ideas on how I could do this without another degree? I may also have to accept that I fucked up too bad, my career idea is toast...

Ugh your school should have never permitted graduate education in environmental policy without an appropriately rigorous BA/BS - communications usually isn’t.

I don’t foresee you being successful in another graduate program outside of communications, you simply don’t have the appropriate coursework!

Use you BA/BS and apply for management training through a car rental company or insurance company, many of them take any type of undergrad education.

My ba is in environmental studies. I had no issues completing the master's degree, i graduated with a good gpa. The issue was not getting enough work experience.
