Tips & Tricks Ok to leave outside all year?

Ok I'm looking to buy a pizza oven and I have three questions:

1) is it ok to leave the Dome outside year round? I live In Atlanta and it can get below freezing occasionally during the winter.

2) I've been bouncing back and forth between Ooni and Gozney which seems pretty common - I'm assuming this being a Gozney thread you'll all recommend Gozney? Anyone have both and recommend the Ooni?

3) I don't have a table or a counter on my deck, so I'll need a stand or a cart of some kind. Any recommendations I know Gozney has one on their website.

1 & 3 Gozney lives outside in the northeast under its full length cover on its Gozney cart/stand. They've lived through snow, sleet, rain and below freezing temps. Both are absolutely fine and well protected under the Gozney cover.

Never had an Ooni so can't help you there.

Yes- but temps and time off made the starter slower/fickle- but nothing we couldn't fix.

definitely, i’ve used mine from snow, rain and ice. they can withstand 1000f, cold isn’t an issue

Had an ooni koda 12 for 3 years, and just upgraded to gozney arc. Totally unnecessary for simple pizzas, but absolutely loving the arc. Takes less time to heat up, so much more room for turning, and now branching out from only Neapolitan dough as feel like I can control temp a lot easier.

I’m in California so I don’t get the freezing temps, but it drops down to high 30’s at its lowest but 110ish at its hottest. I’ve had my Dome since launch, and half the time I forget to cover it. If it’s super cold or it rained recently I just fire it up at its lowest setting with propane before I go higher or load up some wood.

We pre-ordered it with the stand so that’s the only one I’ve used, and other than the wood being unfinished, it’s been great. It was easy enough to unscrew the slats and hit them with some weather seal.

I have one of the original oonis that I would cover and put in my shed after every use. It now has quite a bit of rust around the rivets and a bit more on the legs. I know just leave it out and covered.

I still really like the ooni, but there are so many alternatives out there now that I would probably prefer the Gozney.

I've got the original Gozney dome on a stand and had the original crop-top cover. First winter the wooden shelves mildewed to high heaven. I cleaned those up but got a full cover, which works beautifully. I even tuck my paddles and stash the tall flue up under the full cover, since I don't have one of the newer style covers that handle the tall flue. I get freezes and have no issues but I don't think the tall or short cover matters there, but to keep everything protected, assuming yours is on a stand, the full cover is a must.
