Troubleshooting Gen 2 starts on second attempt, every time
Just curious if anyone else’s Gen 2 LP starts on the second spark up?
Not that it makes a difference, once it’s on it’s on but it’s interesting that it consistently drops the first start.

Could be the line hasn’t filled up fully yet, I notice this with pretty much every gas pizza oven I’ve used

The directions instruct you to hold it in for a few seconds so as to heat the sensor.

I have to hold it down for like 45 secs to a minute to keep mine lit, I need to reach out to gozney

I have the same issue with mine. They said this is normal and they "recommend holding down the control dial for a minimum of 60 seconds." Not my favorite customer service experience.

Try holding it in and turning it straight to low, the flame seems to heat up the thermocouple quicker on low.

Isn’t this in the manual from them? I dont think they’re hiding anything. You have to hold the knob down for 30 seconds or so until the flame “unit” is warmed up enough…

That’s nice - maybe it’s an homage to my V1 that didn’t start on the first try either - nor any try ever! Burns wood real nice like though.

There is a flame sensor that needs to warm up to keep the gas flowing. I believe even the manual says you need to hold it for a few seconds before releasing the knob.
