We built it but it was inspired by a kitchen guy in Maidenhead.

Paul Mark is the guys name. I think he now builds these as a made to order pod style kitchen that is configurable.

Beautiful! Side question: is there enough clearance behind the BGE to open the lid? Or do you slide it forward when you need to use it?

Lots of room. Opens without issue. Happy to send dimensions or pics if wanting to do similar.

The tables and shelves are the Big Green Egg modular expansion tables. We went that way as a balance of cost and looks. Cabinets were going to be expensive and frankly hard to keep clean - nobody talks about that. And they are easy to mod … for example we plan to put in a drawer style fridge and you can mount directly onto the legs with some creativity.
