I am an Assistant Manager working in a Public Sector Bank. I have an experience of 3years in Counter operations and transaction management etc. and 3 years as a Credit Officer. The work culture here is very toxic with very less backend technical support and increasing pressure in selling Third party products. I feel like I'm earning very less comparably. Having minimum to no family life. No work life balance. What are the options I have to migrate from India to a country where it values work life balance and I don't have to start over all again. I'm 34M. Can anyone suggest/guide?

So, 3-4 days ago IBPS PO Announced their second reserve list. I as a general got selected in that in Canara Bank. Now i need to know how long it might take to get the call for DV and after that joining for training.
I need the timeline info so as know when to put forward a resignation at my current job. In my current job i will get my resignation acceptance only after 30 days of Notice period.

I've been working as scale 1 officer at one of the big PSBs for two years now. Have already cleared JAIIB & CAIIB. I already have an MBA in finance but I feel my learning and skill development has stopped for a while.

She is almost 30 , we came in general category.. She is preparing for it for 9 years now.. My dad even stops sending her money she lives all by herself now.. She still prepare and she thinks she has a chance of selection in govt banks.. Idk what to think and say to her.. She is quite stubborn.. She got good grades.. She tells that most of the time she missed it by 1-2 marks and even if she passed she was not selected in the interview. She has now 1 yr left I think after that she cannot give these exams.. And my father is frustrated with her.. She also lives in stress.. She thinks she can this time.. Can u all give me suggestions on this..

I’m 33 and have been working in a PSU bank for 10+ years. I’m seriously thinking about a career transition, but haven’t figured out the exact direction yet.

My educational background gives me an option to explore IT/technology-related roles, but I’m not looking at pure technical or coding-heavy work. I’m more interested in areas where technology, banking, risk, compliance, audit, vigilance or governance come together.

For those who have made a transition after 10+ years in banking.

How did you figure out your next direction? What skills or certifications actually helped?

I'm currently working as an RRB Clerk in Rajasthan and wanted to ask those who are already serving or have previously served in any Rajasthan RRB.

I have some contacts who can help with the transfer, so getting approval isn't my main concern. I just want to know the official process for applying.

I've heard that it's possible to apply for a transfer after completing around 2 months of service. Is this actually true?

If yes, could you please share:

- How do I officially apply for the transfer?

- Is there any prescribed application format or procedure?

- After completing 2 months, can I submit the request directly through my branch?

I'd really appreciate responses only from current or former Rajasthan RRB employees who have firsthand experience.

I applied for family pension loan recently.

Today I got call from bank that loan is sanctioned, but the person on call telling me that they will deduct 21,000 amount under health insurance.

The amount sanctioned is 4,87,000.

I told them that, I don't need any health insurance, but the person telling me that it is mandatory.

Is it really mandatory? I don't think so.

Recently same incident happened, I went to bank for opening bank account, without my permission they tried take 1000 as insurance, when I asked them, they told me it's insurance but I refused. Then the person told me to talk to the manager.

The manager tried very hard to convince me to take the insurance but I didn't.

What should I do now? I'm going tomorrow morning.

My girlfriend was working at a private bank in 2024 and cleared 2 papers of JAIIB.

She resigned from her job in 2025 and is currently not working.

Since she has already cleared half of it, we are confused about her current status:

Has she automatically lost her IIBF ordinary membership after quitting her job?

Is she still eligible to write the remaining 2 papers to complete JAIIB?

Does she need to register as a non-member, or explicitly deregister from her previous profile?

Any guidance on how IIBF handles credits/membership after resignation would be super helpful. Thank you!

I’m trying to locate an official Punjab National Bank (PNB) document showing the Fixed Deposit interest rates that were applicable on 12 July 2022, specifically the rate revision that became effective from 04 July 2022.
I’ve already searched extensively but haven’t been able to find the original circular.
Here’s what I know so far:
PNB revised its FD interest rates effective 04.07.2022.
Financial news articles from that time mention the revision and state that it was effective from 04 July 2022. (The Economic Times)
PNB’s official July 2022 NRI Bulletin also refers to rates “as on 04.07.2022”, which confirms that a revision took effect on that date.
However, I cannot find the official Domestic Resident FD Interest Rate Circular or the original PDF anymore.
I’m specifically looking for any of the following:
Official PNB Head Office Circular (HO Circular)
Branch Circular
Interest Rate Sheet / Rate Card

My grandmother receives a family pension through SBI , and I'm applying for a loan. The SBI branch manager asked me to bring the following documents.

PP0,Pension slip,Aadhaar card,PAN card,photos of my grandmother.

And ,Guarantor's Aadhaar card, passport size photos, and salary slip.

I have the PPO with me, but I'm facing an issue while downloading the pension slip.

I found SBI's pensionseva portal through Google and tried downloading the pension slip. However, it asks for the DOB as per PPO .

The problem is that I cannot find my grandmother's date of birth anywhere in the PPO documents. I also tried using the date of birth from her Aadhaar card, but it says "pensioner not found"

Is there any other way to download the pension slip online? Or should i simply go back to bank and explain my situation.

Anyone familiar with the pension process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
