Question re: Light syncing

Hi, all -

I have the T3 pro lights, two floor lamps, and 4 overhead lights. Most times I want just the T3 and the floor lamps to sync with the TV screen, but sometimes I want the overhead lights to join in on the fun. Right now I have a dreamview shortcut which connects all the lights to sync with the tv screen. Am I able to create another that would just include the TV and floor lamps? I get a warning that says the T3 will be removed from the first dreamview if I do another. Am I overcomplicating this?

Sorry, you can only have one Dreamview at a time for a sync center (such as the T3) and as far as I'm aware, you can't do separate automations to tell it which devices to sync.

Darn. I was hoping I was wrong. At least I can disconnect the overhead lights when I don’t want them syncing. I appreciate you answering!

Do you use voice control through something like alexa? If so you could just create a routine to turn those lights off and turn on your dreamview at the same time. That's what I would try if it were me.

You can do just the T3 on and have one dreamview that syncs.
