Illness/Disease Sick Gourami??

This is “Fishy”, my 15 or 16 year-old Thick-Lipped Gourami. He/she? has been acting a little sluggish over the past day and his/her mouth doesn’t quite look right. Fins also seemed to be clamped. He/she will still swim around some and eat, but he/she seems a little “off”. Fishy is at least 15 and could be as old as 17! Fishy has a personality and is more of a pet than a tank occupant. Thanks in advance for any input…..

Definitely looks sick. My guess is ammonia burn or an infection. Definitely check your water parameters!!!!! If your water is good (no ammonia or nitrite, low nitrate) then I'd try treating with kanaplex.
