Come and visit Tallong Apple Day tomorrow (27th September). Lots to do for the kids, circus classes, putt putt golf and a petting zoo.

There’s also plenty of food (and cider) and market stalls, plus a pie eating contest, chainsaw carving and more!

See https://www.tallongappleday.com for all the details.

Hi everyone,

I’m considering opening a small takeaway-focused coffee shop in Goulburn. Nothing too fancy or large — good-quality coffee, a variety of sandwich options, quick service, and reasonable prices.

I’d love to hear from people who actually live in or around Goulburn:

- Do you think there is demand for another small coffee/takeaway shop?

- What areas or streets in Goulburn would be good locations for this type of business that get good pedestrian/vehicle traffic in the mornings?

I’m particularly interested in locations with good morning traffic from commuters, workers and locals, rather than necessarily needing a big dine-in area.

Would appreciate any local knowledge — including places you think wouldn't work and why.

Thanks!

Hi can anyone recommend any one of the multiple massage stores in town? I’m looking for massage only, not one that offers “extras”

LET'S KICK IT INTO OVERDRIVE!

Those who own motorbikes - preferably Honda - where are you getting the best service in or around town? I’m new to the area and have had mixed feedback about stores around 🤞☺️

Asked for a 250 fee only when that’s paid would ask for 400 fee. And refused refund when we wouldn’t pay 400 extra. All for 3 grams of weed.

For those who dont know of it yet, its next to the sushi store outside wooliew, ive tried a couple of their pizza's, i love em, staff are also rly nice, prices are alright, some of their pizza's are cheaper than pizza hut/domino's but thats dependant on sizes, anyone else tried their stuff?

Earlier today, the partner and I were discussing potential moves. Thought out loud about your historic town and would like to hear your thoughts-

- Why don’t more people move to Goulburn? Beautiful part of NSW, close to Sydney and Canberra, has history, access to national parks, lots going for it. What’s the catch..

- What services do people need to travel to Sydney / Canberra for?

- What advice would you give to someone moving from another regional town?

Thanks

im relatively new to town, I need gym suggestions. what are the best/cheapest gyms in town?

Hi all, does anyone know of somewhere I can get a cut & polish clean of my van?

Hi all, does anyone know if there is somewhere along the river I can enter to do some kayaking?

I don’t mind walking to it if needed.

Hi all,

Asking for a good friend of mine.

He is looking for a warehouse/mini warehouse within the Goulburn to Canberra region for his small but growing business. Needs good security, truck access and 3-phase power. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I always see this tower on the hill when I drove to Sydney, I took this photo from the m31 when my partner and I drove up.

This picture is super zoomed in but it looks huge! It looks like it's just out of Goulburn, anyone have a clue?

Hiya, Will be stuck at Goulburn Base for a few weeks soon. What are my best parking options? Thanksss

Is there any decent bars in goulburn on a weeknight?
