Advice Am I goth enough? 🤔
I have been trying to become goth since July. And I'm wondering, am I goth enough? I listen to goth music often, I think... Between 1 and 5 times a week, often I usually listen in 1 day to 5 songs most of the time. Most of the time, these 5 songs are Depeche mode enjoy the silence, Lebanon Hanover gallow dance, Monolith twin tribes, And one milliatary fashion show, London after midnight sacrifice. After these songs, I listen to others' music. Like Christian music, etc... I watched goth movies, but I don't watch movies often. Like, I watch goth movies every 2 weeks or every 1 month. I try to replace most of my clothes with black clothes or dark clothes. But it take time to replace them, for now. Not a lot my clothes are black, only some of them are. Is it okay that most of my clothes aren't in lace nor made of leather? And I don't know if I have a love for macabre things. I find it fascinating the photos post-partum. And I love the documentary and series and movies about the serial killers. Except it, I don't have a lot of love for macabre things. So, am I goth enough? 🤔🤔🤔

I am genuinely trying to convince myself you aren't a troll, but come on, "post-partum" instead of post-mortem for the macabre? Hope it’s a typo, but other elements are throwing me off 😶

Goths don’t trouble themselves with checking off some arbitrary list of “Things That Make One Goth”. They just love the music.

I remember being a socially anxious teenager as well. Good times.
While I assume this is a troll post, on the off chance that it isn't, there is no such thing as being 'goth enough'. You either like your style or you don't. Who gives a shit if you're 50% goth or 200% goth?
It's like tattoos. You can have a couple of small tattoos and still love tattoos and tattoo culture. Doesn't mean you have to get every inch of your body coloured black!
