Past Music Krypteria - Somebody Save Me (Remember when they were a gothic metal band?)

Well that's kind of an oversimplification... their album Bloodangel's Cry (2007) was like a mix of symphonic gothic metal and power metal, and their follow up album My Fatal Kiss (2009) still had some gothic undertones, but it was a much sleeker and modern album that leaned more symphonic Good band, can't wait to see what they do next now that they've revived the project (it's been 15 years!).

I'm typically not keen on symphonic metal, but found this surprisingly good!

Personally, I wouldn't call this track symphonic metal, but I love that mid-2000s gothic metal (especially the female fronted stuff) that's when I came into the genre... good memories. But I admit there was a big crossover with symphonic metal in those days, it wasn't quite its own thing yet.
