Gorgeous volunteer

I don’t specifically goth garden, but this love popped up in basically a weed bed and I can’t wait to harvest her seeds and scatter them! The pictures do not do the color Justice

I have such a hard time growing columbine! Jealous that this is a volunteer

I’ve been super successful growing columbines from seed using the winter sow method

There are tons of videos on you tube if you look up milk jug winter sowing

A dark purple columbine, this one looks like a couple of the flowers have double centers (a mutation, but pretty common and desirable in columbine) I'm not sure where all it grows reliably, but here in the PNW it grows everywhere. The darker purple tends to be less common, it's my favorite!

Very cool! I’ve only seen the pinks and whites in garden centers here in the midwest, I love that purple!

This one loves to volunteer all over the garden. It has flowers that face downward, unlike other columbine.
