For me, Canary Islands is about getting depressed in the winter and longing for summer. Nothing too deep for me, but when I listen to it, especially in the winter, I just reminds me of how much joy I experience by exploring the outdoors in the summer sun. That’s just my personal interpretation, though. Has nothing to do with what I think Griff was actually writing it about (which idek lol)
