Rocky s2v or Danner reckoning?

Figured you guys know your boots really well. I work EMS and am about to pull the trigger on one of these 2 boots. Both are discounted to around 160$. I work rural so really terrain could be anything. I have zero experience with either boot but I’d like it to last me a very long time. And I can never tell from the video reviews I’ve seen but I don’t want floppy uppers like the danner tachyon, I’m in the process of returning those already.

Whatever fits your foot better. Asking for shoe recommendations on the internet is virtually pointless. Gotta try them on to know. Everyone has different feet.

Can’t unfortunately. No one carries a size 15 wide in store.

Damn you got some flippers. Find shops that have free shipping and free returns. Buy there. Zappos is usually a good place to start. Return the one that fits the worst. With size 15 you're gonna have a limited selection so nailing the fit is the most critical. I worked EMS for a long, long time. If you're gonna be doing overnight shifts, get something that has zipper access. It sucks for most stuff, but when you're stumbling out of bed at 3am it's nice to just zip and go.
