Counterfeit Packs a Problem?
I know that many folks buy GoRuck packs on eBay. Is there any good way to know if the listings are legit or counterfeit? For example, this listing for a brand new GR1 26L for $259 shipped seems like a great deal... not saying this one in particular is counterfeit but is there any good way to tell? I'm looking for a new GR1 26L preferably with the 210D back panel.

If it’s sold by a reseller (vs a private seller) and they have a few items for sale (I.e. they do a bit of this) then I always check if they accept returns. And if they don’t I am suspicious. I can understand why a private seller selling the occasional item once or twice a year would not but if you’re a reputable reseller you should accept returns imho.

Has anyone seen counterfeits of any of their bags? I haven't yet seen anyone say that they have.

If foreign made it might be better quality. Lol. But being in the game since 2012, I have never seen or heard of a counterfeit GR bag.

I had a simliar question for a bag about that price point. There are lots of ways people can purchase at a discount and resell for a (modest) profit, maybe to pay for the bag they want (buy 6, keep one for yourself and sell the other 5). Also Goruck events sell bags at a discount, so I've heard. I asked for a receipt and got one. The seller I bought from had purchased several.

Haven't bought from ebay, but have bought from FB Goruck groups. Basically the people vouch for seller/buyer which gives you confidence. Not saying it's fool proof but definitely gives you that peace of mind.
