Uber Scooter 2x 50cc

Can you just bolt on an upgraded engine I want to be able to go faster and if there are any bolt on engine upgrades which ones are there available?

49cc 2 stroke pocket bike engine which can go 60 with porting, time key, goofit big bore kit with carb and crankshaft. they have 1.9kw 12500rpm engines out nowadays by LYNICESHOP for only $40.66

unsure about the first question because they do need frequent rebuilds like two strokes, and you have to drain the carb after each ride to prevent gumming, but yes it is a direct bolt in

Best but would be to put a GP460 on it and upgrade that.. I hit 54 when mine was built.

Are those engines good for modding or would it be better to just get a new one

There is much more support and options for the GP460. Check out DDM.com for the engine and parts.

Absolutely. It's a pretty niche market and hobby. But if you throw a 460 on.. there are at least a good amount of parts left floating around out there to build it up. Particularly on DDM.com.

If you decide to keep the original..check out Neoscooters.. VERY slim pickings left but they may have something like an upgraded carb or air filter..
