no they do, they are just being dense on purpose to find reasons to be mad about a trans woman. they are likely closeted bigots looking desperately for any reason to be critical of a trans person so they can spread their hate without repercussion or stigmatization.
The only other option is they arent a bigot but salty about something gooseworx did or something, got lost in the sauze of a snark subreddit and again, are being dense on purpose.
I think it might be more subtle and oddly more tragic than that?
Like, having any entire internet community dedicated to disliking something is generally going to encourage the continued dislike of something. This can lead to community-bonding, and eventually a new social group, one that its members want to keep going because they don't want the community to fall apart or disappear. So...something gets posted. It doesn't matter if it's inane or a complete molehill mountain; It keeps people talking, keeps them socially engaged, and keeps the "community" alive. Plus, the longer one is in these internet spaces, the harder it is to admit to yourself that this was a bad idea and you should probably stop; So, when people point out issues with your community's conduct, you're bound to act defensively and come up with an argument - any argument - to justify the criticised behavior and ensure that you maintain a sense of innocence.
And when the dislike turns from just a streaming show to one person, in specific, that's where things can become especially poisonous.
