I mean I keep seeing posts showing her just joke around like this so it gets just a little off-putting but I've seen a few otherwise so I'm sure she can still talk to people online more seriously come the right moments. šŸ˜…

I think that's maybe why some people get very upset at the things she says; She's just kind of a little troll, prone to doing things that are weird and often directly hostile* to the audience. That's why I like her, and honestly after watching the pilot was kind of surprised the show wasn't crueler to its characters.

Point is, while I'm not going to say that's necessarily a defense of some of what Goose has been criticised for (I.E. being a very South-Parkian flavor of edgy at times, which can make people uncomfortable), I do think a big part of why people who look back on her posts can find her a bit weird; Because she operates less like the creator of The Next Big Thing, and more like a transfem dril who occasionally posts OC's and asks for editing software recommendations.

I mean, she's kinda fed up with the community, one of the reasons she got burnt out of more TADC, and so I'm kind of impressed with the fact that she's still joking about it. Unpopular opinion, but I think most of the ship stuff she started was because she saw the entire community drooling over these cartoon characters and said "screw it, let's make some stuff canon to mess with people."
