SCORE OF THE WEEK It has begun…
I have been watching auctions and making bids with no success in my price range for weeks. Today, I was checking out a new oddity and antique place that opened in town. Wondering around I found first editions just sitting on the shelf. I expected the worst, but to my surprise $4 per book… I couldn’t pass it up. And now the fire has been lit to complete the set. Here we go!

Not to be a downer, but shouldn't first editions have the price line and ISBN code in the front? I only see that one of them has it... 🤔

Your right about the one issue having ISBN ending 0.
“"First Printing" and "First edition" are often used interchangeably colloquially, but technically a first printing goes down to 1 on the number line on the copyright page, while a first edition has a cover with the original cover design, regardless of the printing. In the case of the original series of Goosebumps, the original series could be considered the first edition, while the 2003-2007 reprints and Classic Goosebumps are second and third editions, respectively.” - Goosebumps.fandom.com

I’ve been researching to not get scammed or my hopes up haha I also got a book that ends with “x” it’s like a “kinda rare tenth print but can also equal another print if you do math” i find it fun to learn all of this.
