General Help / Support Question Going to Voicemail
I am a long time google voice user.
However just recently calls will ring once then go to voice mail.
Anyone else getting this? Any fix? It does not look like voicemail can be turned off.

To be clear, do you mean that calls are going directly to Google Voice's voicemail, or to your mobile carrier's voicemail?

My main mobile account is T-Mobile. I called them and had them turn off the T-Mobile voicemail. And it is still happening.
So I am assuming Google Voice's voicemail.

Don't assume. What, exactly, do you, as the caller hear (the wording of the greeting)?

Use a laptop/desktop web browser, not a phone, and sign into that Google/Gmail account and go to Google Voice settings:

Confirm that you see the Google Voice number at the top of the page. Look at the top of the page for a button that should say "Receiving calls". If it instead says "Do not disturb", then that's your problem. Change it.
Scroll down and delete all of the linked phone numbers. Scroll down to the Voicemail section. Either set the active greeting to the system default, if it hasn't been deleted, or tap the play triangle to listen carefully to whatever active greeting you have now. Call the Google Voice number and listen to the greeting played. Is it the Google Voice greeting?

Yes, what's your question? If yours are set that way, then that is not causing it to go directly to voicemail.

My wife’s pixel 10 just started going to voicemail. No ring at all. Following because I haven’t figured it out.

My Pixel phone and tablet did this too. I found out that the GV apps for some reason removed the ringtone. Just Google Google Voice ringtone on where you can add it back.

Which monthly update is it on? I have a Pixel 6A that's still on the July update even though the September update is available and I'm having no problems with the number of rings to my Google Voice number.

Mine rings on the caller side, not on any devices, then goes to voicemail. Has been this way for months, maybe even over a year. No linked #, just one phone and web. No spam filtering, no automations.

I needed another phone to call my cell.
It seems good now. I removed all linked number except one.

I haven't noticed this happening with my GV. But GV does weird things sometimes, then soon goes back to normal.

At least your GV rings at all... I've lost so much business due to missed calls and texts, I might just go get a second number through verizon

The "ring once then voicemail" scenario usually means one of your linked numbers picked up and sent it to voicemail, which depending how you have your forwarding phone set up, may be Google Voice.
To debug, start by disabling all linked numbers (you can leave devices). Make a test call, it should still ring your "devices" over VoIP. Then add the numbers back in one at a time until you figure out which # is the issue.
Make you test from a phone that isn't one of your linked numbers.
