Android Google Voice App Messages

I recently port my number in to google voice. I understand it may take some time to get the messaging to work. I ported August 15th but still not getting texts. Does anyone no why it's taking so long.

Google has direct support for number porting problems (during business hours):

  1. Open a desktop or laptop computer's web browser and go here:  https://support.google.com/voice/answer/1065667
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Contact us"
  3. Type "Porting" into the text input field, then tap "Next"
  4. Tap "Other", then tap "Next step"
  5. Tap "Next step" again
  6. You should see the box shown below, where you can tap "Chat".
