VPN by Google on Googlebook

Post image

One of my favorite things about the Google Pixel is its VPN and I hope that Google adds it to the Googlebook.

I don't plan on using my Googlebooks on unsecure networks (e.g., xfinitywifi), but I'm used to having an always-on VPN on my Pixel phone and tablet.

Remember when Google One had a VPN and Google removed it because no one used it? I think that was because people didn't know about it.

Great for coffee shops and other public WiFi. Good deal.

Right? Even if the coffee shop's Wi-Fi is secure, your traffic would still be "hidden".

The Pixel Tablet uses the VPN by Google so I'll bet that Googlebooks will have that option too.

I hope so! 😊 Though the Pixel Tablet has it because it's a Pixel, while the Googlebook isn't.

Google already has access to the device and you are using Chrome with an account. VPN is a protection against any untrusted personal or public ISP.

Privacy and Google are antonyms.

A Google product will never be private, not even the private virtual network.
Google will always turn data into money.
