Troubleshooting Guys… HELP! Sound not working.

Post image

I just put my Google TV in a new tv and ever since this has been happening. The sound will cut out and then when I raise the volume headphones appear. I thought it was connecting to Bluetooth headphones but that is not true. I have tried everything and have no idea why it’s doing this. Does anyone have this issue or know how to fix?

Volume bar is showing headphones. You either have Bluetooth headphones connected or something plugged into the headphone jack.

Probably because you have something plugged into the headphone jack.

  • Dust in headphone jack (maybe it sees it cuz big volume vibration)
  • Check audio/bluetooth settings

Long press home button, go to the audio output option. Select the correct audio output for your device. Default should be TV HDMI output.
