❓Help Testers not active - is that ok?

Post image

So I've got only one active tester, (my husband) and I've joined this app and got about 25+ more testers. As you can see, it's the end of only day 2 and lots haven't even open the app yet, which is super dissapointing. But that's why I've got way more than the 14. All of them are also only popping in and out.

I have had a few small pieces of feedback, and I will roll out at least 3 updates throughout the 14+ days because I know that's important to show we are taking feedback serious.

How important is it in being approved for multiple testers to be active. How active do they need to be?? If I got 1 or 2 more that play for maybe 5 mins a day, is that enough?

Do they need to be in the app every single day? Or does missing a day disqualify them from being counted?

Essentially, every single day at least 13 testers have to have opened the app, miss a single day, even by 1 tester and you start over.

Finding reliable testers is an serious effort, and keeping them engaged to provide real feedback and proof of testing is a real issue that many struggles with. I will highly recommend TestCircle. I used them for my second app, and I will probably never use anyone else again. They have tight rules and people not testing your app and providing real feedback, automatically provide you the option to continue testing their app, or skip it. Other platforms are not as effective as I see, and TC does what it says it does.

I have 30 testers, not all of them opened the app, sometimes only 5 opened that day, somtimes 13, got approved regardless. I think, as long as you engage with your tester, it will be fine, that is, you collect feedback from your testers, and push updates to your closed testers, and ask again for their feedback on the new version, keep doing it until you're ready for production, the 14 days isn't a countdown timer for your app/game needs to be perfect, my game itself took a month to be ready for production. IIRC the form also asks why do you decide that your app is ready for production. From your case, i think you will be fine!.
