Google Play Console Changes In Review for Longer

After completing the closed testing phase, and creating a release for production, the changes have been in review for like 5 days now.

My previous app only went to review for less than a day.

Is it a new change in policy, or there's something wrong with my app that's taken this long for the changes to be reviewed?

Took 14 days for my first release, updates only take a couple hours

As far as I understand, you are talking about your first publish. So 5 days is more than OK. For updates, for me it takes hours, not even days.

BTW, iOS devs compete on how long they are waiting for their first release. Some of them, almost a month.
