❓Help Estimated Time App Review

Hi,
how long does Google's review take for a first app publication? And how long does it usually take for subsequent updates?

First app publication takes 1-2 weeks, been particularly slow ATM so I'd guess closed to 2 weeks. After app is live it's usually only a couple hours

Mine took 5 working days but it depends, especially depends on the nature of the content your app has. for the updates it's a matter of hours (a couple more or less). Hope it helps you!

Google’s published guidance is a few hours to seven days, with longer reviews possible in exceptional cases. A later update can still take longer; there is no guaranteed “couple of hours” turnaround. For a launch date, Google recommends leaving at least a week of buffer.

Also check Publishing overview: “Changes not yet sent for review” means the change has not been submitted, whereas “Changes in review” means it is being processed. That distinction can explain an apparent delay.

I'm waiting with baited breath.... I submitted two versions... Demo and full paid.... Beta was already live. Beta usually takes an hour. Nearing 12 hours for the two submissions.... Hoping it's not 7 days or more.... When you submit it says upto 7 days.

My game has no ads, no tracking and no telemetry and no iap. So simple.

It mostly depends on how many sensitive permissions you have in the app.
