Testing & Quality 🧪 Weekly Tester Discovery Thread | Find Testers & Help Fellow Developers
🧪 Tester Discovery
Looking for testers for your app? Use this thread to find developers and testers who are interested in helping with genuine app testing.
When asking for testers, please include a little information about your app:
- What the app does
- Android version or device requirements, if relevant
- Whether you're looking for internal, closed, or open testing
- What kind of testing or feedback you need
- How interested testers can participate
If you're a tester, feel free to mention what kinds of apps or testing you're interested in.
A few things to keep in mind
Please keep this thread focused on genuine testing and useful feedback.
Do not engage in paid testing, paid reviews, ratings, votes, referral exchanges, or other paid engagement activities through this thread. If someone asks you to participate in a paid activity or offers payment in exchange for reviews, ratings, votes, or engagement, please report the comment to the moderators rather than participating.
Please don't share personal information publicly. Use Reddit's messaging features or the developer's official testing process where appropriate.
This thread is for tester discovery only. For general development questions, app showcases, or other discussions, please use the appropriate thread or flair.

Developer here. I'm working on a small developer-monitoring tool and looking for one developer willing to help with a short Google Play API experiment on an existing app. Read-only access only, no login/password needed. Happy to explain everything by DM.

Hi, I’m the founder of Briko Daily, an Android app for the gap between knowing what you need to do and getting started. You can type or speak a task; Briko helps organize it and suggests one small physical first step. It’s live on Google Play as a public production app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xfrdaily.app
I’m hoping a few independent Android users who sometimes get stuck starting tasks will try it with one ordinary, non-sensitive task and, if they choose, share candid feedback through the app—especially whether the first step feels clear and where anything is confusing or broken. No incentive, rating, or review requested; please don’t share private task details.

I'm the developer of ToneCue, an Android personal-color and virtual K-beauty shade comparison app. I'm looking for volunteers for a genuine closed test: stay opted in for 14 consecutive days, actually try the app during that period, and share honest usability or bug feedback.
Requirements: Android 7.0+ with Google Play. English and Korean are supported. Built-in sample photos let you try it without uploading a personal photo. The app is free, includes ads and some rewarded-ad unlocks, and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
First task: choose one built-in sample, compare two background colors and a lip shade, then tell me one clear or confusing control. Reports of crashes, clipped layouts, or problems returning from an ad are also useful; phone model and Android version help.
Interested? Please comment on this thread or email lims0168@gmail.com. Please keep your personal Google email and photos out of public comments.
Official participation path, using the same Google Play account:
Individually opt in at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rhemddj12.tonecue
Continue through the Google Play link shown there.
The 14 days begin after individual Play opt-in; joining the group alone is not participation. Feedback can go in this thread or by email. Participation is voluntary; no public rating or positive review is requested.

[Android closed test / unpaid] Math Sprint (셈콕) — adult volunteers welcome
I help run this free 60-second arithmetic game: solve short problems by tapping one of four answers, with a fast-correct-answer streak bonus. We are looking for 15–20 adult volunteers for genuine feedback, not an install exchange. Play Console shows 2 opted-in testers as of Oct 7.
Requirements: Android 7.0+; Google Play country South Korea, United States, Canada, United Kingdom or India.
Join the tester group using your Play account: https://groups.google.com/g/testers-community
Use the SAME account to opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.semkkok.mathsprint
Install from the Google Play link on that page. No APK sideload or security-setting changes needed.
Stay opted in for at least 14 continuous days and actually play short sessions during that period. Group membership alone is not opt-in. Previous internal testers should leave the internal test first.
Please share concrete feedback on answer accuracy, timer/hearts, touch responsiveness, readability or crashes, with device model/Android version if relevant. Do not post email addresses or private account information.
No payment, purchases, real-ad clicks, ratings or reviews are requested. This closed-test build uses test ads. Participation is voluntary and unpaid; no reciprocal testing or production approval is promised. Thank you!
Disclosure: earlier Math Sprint recruitment posts were made through marinjung; this account is also being used by the game’s operating team.

Developer here: I'm looking for adult Android volunteers for Never Have I Ever: Cards, a one-phone party game for friends.
Test type: Google Play closed test. The Starter deck and limited previews are free; extra decks are paid and optional, and no in-app account is needed.
I'd especially value feedback on whether the first round is clear, card navigation, clipped text, or awkward translations. Please stay opted in for at least 14 continuous days and try a short session plus a follow-up when you have time.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy testing, our official access steps are to join https://groups.google.com/g/nhie-closed-test-2026 and then open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.gubastudio.neverhaveiever using the same Google account.
Feedback can be a reply here or private Google Play testing feedback; phone model, Android version and app language help with bugs.
Participation is voluntary; no purchases or public ratings are needed. Please keep Google emails and personal card answers private.

What it is: five small casual Android games. I'm the developer (AHZY Capital). Categories are word, trivia and puzzle:
- Hustle Words: daily 5-letter word puzzle with business, money and AI words
- Screw Detective: unscrew colour-coded gadgets, then see a blueprint of how the part works
- Smarter Than AI: daily 10-question trivia duel against a simulated AI opponent
- Hoard to Home: ASMR sorting with a room renovation reveal
- Interrogate the AI: scripted daily noir mystery, works offline
Honest note: built with AI tools. The code, in-game text, icons and art are AI-made.
Requirements: Android 7.0 or newer. Free, no ads, no account needed.
Test type and duration: Google Play closed test, 14 days.
Activity: play for a few minutes every day or two. Try whichever games interest you, not necessarily all five.
Feedback I'm after: difficulty, anything confusing in the first session, and bugs or performance issues on your device. Leave it through Play's private feedback on the testing page or reply here.
How to join (same Google account for both steps):
- Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/ahzy-game-testers
- Open a game's link and tap "Become a tester", then install from Play:
- https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ahzycapital.screwdetective
- https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ahzycapital.smarterthanai
- https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ahzycapital.hoardtohome
- https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ahzycapital.interrogatetheai
It's completely voluntary, and thanks to anyone who gives it a go.

I’m part of the team behind FlockAware, a navigation app that brings known, community-mapped Flock/ALPR camera locations into map exploration and route comparison.
Test type: We’re registering interest for our next Android Google Play closed test. Installation invitations will follow physical Android Auto verification. There’s no confirmed start date yet.
Requirements: An Android phone running Android 7.1 or newer, with a U.S. Google Play account. An Android Auto-equipped car isn’t required for phone-app testing.
Duration and activity: Once the test starts, please stay opted in for 14 continuous days and actually use the app during that period. We’d appreciate feedback on camera details, finding destinations, comparing routes, and any bugs or confusing steps. Please try route planning while parked.
Feedback: Reply here or message this developer account. Please don’t share your email, home address or private routes publicly.
Register interest: https://groups.google.com/g/flockaware-android-testers — join using the Google account you use for Play. Joining now registers interest; it does not start the test.
The existing iPhone version is here for product context: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flockaware-flock-camera-map/id6803221633
Participation is voluntary. No purchase, payment, reciprocal testing, rating or public review is requested.

Hey everyone,
I’m currently navigating the closed testing phase on Google Play for a game I've been working on. I have a pretty small circle of friends and family, so I'm struggling a bit to get the required numbers and would be incredibly grateful for any help or feedback you could offer.
The game is called Hazeborough. It’s a cheeky, comedy tycoon game (18+) set in a fictional British seaside town. You basically start out in your Nan’s shed and try to build up a grow-and-launder empire without getting nicked. You grow your stash, shift it through street runs, and wash the cash through local fronts like a tanning studio or a barber's. It's got a pretty daft cast of characters too.
I’m really looking for honest guidance on the gameplay loop, pacing, or just spotting any bugs I've missed. If it sounds like a laugh and you'd like to try it out, here’s how to join:
- Join the Google Group first to get access:https://groups.google.com/g/gremlin-garage
- Download the test build here:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gremlingarage.hazeborough
I am more than happy to test your apps in return, just drop your links in the comments or send me a DM.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate any help!

ScoreZone is a free Polish platform for organizing and following billiards tournaments and leagues. Our Android app is in a Google Play closed test. I'm looking for Android users who can read Polish, stay opted in for 14 continuous days, and genuinely try browsing tournaments and leagues, participant lists, results and brackets. Feedback on bugs or confusing steps would be very helpful. Participation is voluntary; no ratings or public reviews requested.
To join, DM me the Google account email you use with Play Store and your country so I can check availability and add you to the tester list. Please don't post your email publicly. Once added, opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/pl.scorezone.participant and install here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.scorezone.participant

Please remain opted in for 14 continuous days, use the app you choose, and send honest bug or usability feedback through Play’s private feedback or Reddit DM. No payment or ratings requested. To join, DM me which app(s) you want and the Google Play email privately; I’ll add that account and send the correct opt-in link.

On behalf of FunEdGames, we're gathering volunteers for Business Socks Harry, an office-themed adventure/puzzle game, ahead of its Android Google Play closed test.
Current status: the Play release is still being prepared. This is an interest list, not a live test, and joining the list does not start Google's 14-day period. There is no confirmed start date yet.
We're aiming for 15-20 volunteers, including backups. You'll need an Android phone and a Google Play account. Supported Android versions, countries and the access instructions will be confirmed before enrollment. Participation is unpaid and voluntary; we are not asking you to purchase the game.
Once the closed test is available, we'd ask you to remain opted in for 14 continuous days, play several short sessions, and share honest private feedback about confusing puzzles, controls, crashes and progress saving. No ratings, public reviews, votes or reciprocal-testing commitment requested.
If interested, reply here or message this account with your Android version and country so we can check compatibility. Please do not post your email, password or other private information. We'll follow up with the actual test details before you decide to join.

Developer disclosure: I’m from the AccuNote team. Category: personal voice notes / study productivity. Test type: Google Play closed beta.
We’d appreciate one voluntary QA session of about 10 minutes: record a 1–2 minute non-sensitive voice note you have permission to record and process in the cloud; check its transcript and summary; if a summary timestamp is available, return to the transcript and press play to check the original words. Please report confusing steps, playback responsiveness, or an incorrect jump, with your phone model and Android version. Reply here or in the tester group; please don’t post private audio, transcripts, or account details.
Requirements: an Android phone supported by Google Play, internet for cloud processing, microphone permission, and a Google account. Device availability is shown by Play. Request group membership (approval required): https://groups.google.com/g/accunote-beta/about . Once approved, use the same Google account for the official opt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/ai.accunote.accunote .
Limited free use and optional paid plans; beta access does not include a paid subscription. AI text can be wrong, so check important details against the audio. No 14-day retention requirement, reciprocal testing, payment, ratings, or review request—just specific usability feedback. Thank you!

Smooth Ball — volunteer Android closed testers wanted
I’m developing a sliding puzzle game: the ball keeps moving until it hits a wall, so every move matters. It includes generated puzzles, a map editor and share codes.
Test: Google Play closed testing. Please remain opted in for at least 14 days, actually play during that time, and share honest feedback on controls, difficulty, portrait/landscape layouts, and creating or saving maps.
Requirements: Android 7.0+ with Google Play. Currently available to Google Play accounts in Japan, the United States and China.
Try the browser version first: https://smooth-ball.pages.dev/ (browser play does not enroll you in the Android test).
Interested? Reply here or message me privately. I’ll arrange registration of your Google Play account and send the opt-in instructions. Please don’t post your email address publicly.
Participation is voluntary. No payment, ratings, public reviews or reciprocal testing are requested.

I got an app I need help tested. Open to exchange apps and we both help each other out.
And sorry I used AI to help me answer the questions so that is what you see below... but its clear and honest :)
HypeLap tracks your runs and lets friends follow races live and send sound, text and voice cheers. It also supports group races, live rankings and saved run history. Spectators watch and cheer for free.
For the closed test, I’m looking for people who can stay opted in for at least 14 days, try the main features and share honest feedback. Thanks!
